Screen Cuba is delighted to announce that the accomplished Cuban graphic designer and illustrator Emilio Cruañas Pérez has created an amazing poster for the Film Festival. The poster is now on its way to the printers and we can’t wait to reveal it to you. It will be sold to raise funds for the digitisation and restoration of the Cuban Film Institute’s classic films.

Emii, as he is known professionally, graduated from Cuba’s Higher Institute of Design in Havana where he now teaches. He has participated in numerous poster and illustration exhibitions in Cuba, as well as internationally such as in Mexico, Spain, and Poland. He has also collaborated on a variety of projects, including several based in media including El Surti, Radio Ambulante, Inspiratorio, Ojo Público and El País. Check out Emii’s work @cruanas.emii
