DONATE TO HELP PRESERVE CUBA’S CINEMATIC HERITAGE

Screen Cuba Festival celebrates Cuba’s remarkable home grown cinema industry, despite the US blockade which has impacted deeply, and it is also raising funds for projects of the Cuban Film Institute (ICAIC), such as the restoration of classic films and crucial equipment to aid distribution to more audiences.

With your help, we have already been able to fund the restoration of two short Cuban films in ICAIC’s archive – early animation classics by Juan Padron, which we showed in March 2025. Due to the success of the 2025 festival we were also able to fund the restoration of four more short animation classics by Juan Padron.
